Ayilla is a singer, a rapper, and as of March 2020 — a mother.
She has been channeling divine feminine energy in her sultry neo-soul hip-hop sounds since she started performing around Tulsa in 2018. After a couple of successful singles (Ms. Mary and POV) Ayilla released her long-awaited debut EP Crazy As We Are in 2019. The project paints powerful stories of love and loss, creation and destruction and the ups and downs of a spiritual journey over R&B melodies provided by Fire in Little Africa producer powerhouse 2Peece.
Crazy As We Are but a spotlight on Ayilla in Tulsa, and earned her a spot in Tulsa’s official SXSW 2020 showcase. Ayilla is also an entrepreneur, and plans to open a hookah lounge in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood with her family in summer 2020.
