Hakeem’s inevitable rise was delayed when he caught a case in 2018. Upon his release in 2019, Hakeem immediately got back to work and to the top of his game. His much anticipated debut album Captain dropped in February of 2020 to universal local praise. Hakeem has multiple projects scheduled to drop in 2020, including a collaborative album with St. Domonick titled UGK.
