Hakeem Eli’Juwon is one of the most respected spitters in Oklahoma. Not only does his voice immediately cut through the noise on any song he shows up on, his songs range from street anthems to love songs to motivational rocket fuel.
is Native American ancestry gives him a unique perspective and he is an expert on the tribal history of Oklahoma and beyond. He explores these uniquely Oklahoman themes throughout his music even as they relate to the dope-boy culture he often represents. Hakeem’s inevitable rise was delayed when he caught a case in 2018. Upon his release in 2019, Hakeem immediately got back to work and to the top of his game. His much anticipated debut album Captain dropped in February of 2020 to universal local praise. Hakeem has multiple projects scheduled to drop in 2020, including a collaborative album with St. Domonick titled UGK.
